Paint and liner are in beautiful condition. The front side of the helmet has a small chip under the visor line; reference attached photos.

The interior foam has and is in the process of disintegrating. Foam technology from the mid-80's just doesn't compare to that used today. Because of this, coupled with the age of this helmet (originally manufactured in 1985) this item is to be used as a display item only.

This helmet cannot be expected to provide any level of protection to an individual wearing it. A really nice survivor piece for the 80's era motocross memorabilia collector.
